Morgan is a native of Wilmington and currently lives in the Hampstead area. At 21, he started a very traditional style of martial arts that became a core part of his adult life. When he was 25 years old, he had one of those humbling life moments that resulted in his Martial Arts Instructor saying, “Tomorrow you are going up to the school and signing up for massage classes. You can do more with your life.” Morgan was not going to argue with him. This ended up being the start of a great passion for helping people. When he gives a massage, therapeutic touch becomes communication. When he found the ability to “communicate through touch” and how many ways it has been used since ancient Egypt to help, heal, love, and build, all without the need for words, he knew he had found the healing art.
During Morgan’s first year in practice a client gave him a compliment that really solidified in his mind why he was doing massage therapy. This gentleman, after seeing him twice a month for about 6 months, told him, “I’m about to move out of the state, and this is my last session before I have to move. I had to tell you that, because of you, I have been able to get out in the yard and teach my son how to play ball this past weekend.” Morgan believes if he can impact 1 family, 1 relationship, or even 1 individual to give them the freedom of mobility…he’s doing his job.
Morgan looks forward to meeting you and helping you regain mobility and freedom of movement. Please keep in mind, the his massage style is not for people who want a light, easy, relaxing massage. His style is therapeutic in nature and requires engagement in the experience.
Modalities Offered – Deep Tissue, Sports, Assisted Stretching, Trigger Point, Mobility work.

Colton recently moved to the area from Boise, Idaho. As a Rehab Tech, Colton works to provide support for all therapists, clients, and support staff. Helping instruct patients with the proper exercises, setting up modalities, and general cleaning are just a few of the things Colton does to keep our clinic running smoothly. Colton spent three years as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Capitol High School where he trained hundreds of high school athletes in group and individual settings, focusing on sports specific technical training, strengthening, and injury prevention. Outside of work, Colton loves to stay active with his family; doing anything from golfing to jet-skiing! He also enjoys bonding with his friends over sports games, movies, and the great outdoors! We are so thankful to welcome such a wonderful tech into our family!

Rehabilitation Technician
Taylor is thrilled to join the RTB Therapy family during her gap year before entering into an Occupational Therapy graduate program. Born and raised in the mountains of Virginia, she decided to move to the beach to earn a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. After graduation, Taylor moved to Surf City, NC which led her to joining our team at Raise the Bar. Taylor’s favorite part of being a Rehab Tech is the opportunity to form empathetic connections with the community RTB serves and to gain hands-on experience in the therapy world before OT school. Taylor's biggest motivating factor towards becoming an Occupational Therapist is her desire to add life to years and determination to make people feel like the best versions of themselves. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys exploring Topsail Island with her husband, staying active by going on walks or playing pickleball, journaling, and spending time at the beach.

Sheonagh received an associate degree in science while living in NY and is presently working toward her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She has several years’ experience in the medical field, first as a Medical Assistant, followed by Administrative Assistant, and finally an Accounts Payable Specialist. Sheonagh recently moved to our area from Upstate NY and is a mother of four beautiful children. When she is not working, she loves being outdoors with them, kayaking, hiking, and being on the water. Sheonagh’s primary responsibility at Raise the Bar will be to build relationships with our clients and ensure you each understand your insurance specifications, copays, and deductibles regarding therapy services. We are aware of how confusing it can be when dealing with insurance companies, and we are so excited to be able to have a specialist for this!
